2 There is more than one past tense in Spanish. The preterite tense is for completed, simple actions in the past (I ate). The imperfect tense is for continuous actions in the past (I was eating).

B) Completed action (done-not interrupted or repeated) The bus arrived late to the school. Pilar & Ignacio earned the same score. It snowed more in Boston than in Detroit in 2015.
