11 Lunch 9th grade students are required by board policy to stay on campus No hanging out in the Science building/ 3rd floor West /Fine Arts hall/Parking lot. You can hang out in the other parts of the building- the front lawn - play basketball in the small gym.

12 Lunch You may bring your lunch or buy it.We have several choices: vending machines, cafeteria food, lunch kiosks in the hallways, senior hall food sales, vendors on the front lawn and at circle drive

13 Dress Code Shirt strap- wider than your student IDShorts longer than the end of your finger Shorts/dresses should be long enough to not have to continually pull down Shirts- no alcohol/illegal substances/pictures must meet dress code standard/ no suggestive statements Shirt must cover the beltline of your pants No hats or headgear, sunglasses, girls may wear scarfs- no wider than width of ID No bandana paisley pattern on any clothing

14 Students IDs Always wear your student ID— must be worn and visible from the front torso area You can get a temporary ID in the West Office/ Gym Hall/ SSC/ General Office/ Library/ 3rd floor IB office. No passes will be given in order for you to get your temporary ID. Consequence on the 3rd temporary ID issued. Wear it every day during the school day.

15 Electronic Devices Put away before you enter the classroom- only use in the classroom with specific permission from the teacher. May use in the halls during passing periods/lunch/before and after school If your electronic device is taken up, it will be turned into our office and kept for two days. “ripe” for theft – BE VIGILANT

16 Passing periods Take care of business during passing periods-few passes will be given by your teachers Intercom will play music before the bell rings for 1 minute-- 1st and 5th hours There will be consequences once you are tardy to a class 3 times

17 Buses-Do You Know Where to Get on Your Bus After School?Small buses pick up in Circle Drive – See the sign to indicate where you need to load onto a bus If the bus route number is on the list, the bus is found on the straight away. If the bus route is not on the list, the bus is along the curb. Large buses pick up on Douglas Street – See sign at the pond to indicate where you need to load onto a bus. Buses leave East High at 3:38, make sure you are on it or prepare to have your own transportation home.

19 Finals All students will be expected to take a final in all classes. More information and schedule will come at a later time from your teachers. Tell your parents not to make any plans that cause you to miss the last 2 days of the semester.

20 “The Original” Spirit ShirtBuild the positive culture at East High and show that you CARE. Go above and beyond and be noticed. The “Original” spirit shirt will be given out as staff observe student actions that builds a CAREing community. Gabe Murphy—designed the new Freshman class t-shirt– I will talk about that in a few minutes– during summer school. Congrats to him--- enjoy the shirt

21 Spirit Shirts Heckler Spirit ShirtBuild the crazy loud and proud culture of our at East High student section. Show up to the games– dress in the nightly themes– be loud and proud-- Go above and beyond and be noticed. The “HECKLER” spirit shirt will be given out as staff observe student actions that builds GREAT STUDENT SPIRIT. Distribution will start in a couple of weeks.

23 2021 T- Shirts MUST PRE-ORDER --$ Pay the cashier– across the hall from the auditorium Take receipt to Ms. Keane- E325 & order size Final T-Shirt Design will be released on Monday August 28 -- In the halls on posters!!! ALL ORDERS WILL CLOSE ON September 14!  (Day after BIG DO) – they will be sold during the BIG – DO!!!  This t-shirt is your TICKET to some special fun on the Friday of Homecoming Week.
