3 15 years ago Synergy started as the party that moulded a generation, showed them what it was like to get lost in a crowd of like-minded souls: dance the night away: party like it was the last day on earth. For 7 unforgettable years, Synergy catered for every conceivable taste from dance, rock, and live bands to drum & bass and disco. In 2009, after a absence of 7 years, Synergy exploded onto the local Festival scene, even bigger and better than ever before. 7 International line up Synergy has always been on the forefront of bringing great international acts to South Africa. For Synergy 2010 we were extremely proud to announce that UK Rock Gods – Feeder In 2011 saw Black Rebel Motor Cycle Club on The Main Stage. This year we will again up the game.

Top headline internationals: more than 70 South African bands, live acts and electro artists: sounds floods the vineyards: campers gaze up at the stars: you’ve never been so in tune with nature… Synergy, South Africa’s legendary mega-music festival, returns to the Cape Winelands from November 30 to 2 December 2012, bringing together an extraordinary line-up of Top international and local acts for three full days of summer celebration. We would call it an outdoor festival, but its just so much more.
13 Main Stage - Featuring the very best International & local Live bands and musicians. The main stage at Synergy is the focus of the Festival, with state-of-the-art technical production, including daylight screens , concert sound & lighting rigs and custom made visuals, stage sets and decoration. Electro Dome -Incorporating all types of electronic music including, electro, techno, dubstep and drum & bass. With DJ performances by top internationals, clublands best underground superstars, as well as the best live electro acts around.

15 Inside Outing stage - The latest addition to Synergy Live, this stage will feature stand up comedy, theatre sports and other live entertainment . It will also be a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the festival and relax in a massive beautifully decorated lounge area, reminiscent of the chill outs of Synergy's past. Bar Stage - Situated in the main Bar Tent, the Bar Stage opens when the main stage closes. It will feature retro re-mix-masters playing an eclectic mix of all things 80s, 90s, old school, funk and rock.

It wouldn’t be Synergy without the fun fair: Each year we assemble the creme de la creme of fairground and thrill rides from around the country with one purpose in mind - to turn you, throw you, spin you and whip you into a frenzy. Whether you want to be turned inside out or just fancy a fun little drive on the bumper cars there is something for everyone. The Market place - Energy comes from food – and Synergy comes with new & improved festival cuisine. With everything from sushi to schwarmas and pizza to gourmet eats and Asian delights. This year's Synergy offers more dining options than ever before with the inclusion of several new stores and wine tasting.

19 Camping -.Full camping facilities, plenty of room and creature comforts so there’s no excuse not to drive in, park off, pitch your tent and settle in like a local. Hot showers, lockers and toilets tended 24/3: clean, safe and secure. Merchandise, Arts and Crafts - Concert collectables, dream catchers, foot rubs and all manner of festival folly. Check out the merchandise stalls: Buy a cd or T-shirt. recharge your batteries – and do the same for your cellphone at the power point stations. Take home more than memories.
