2 ESTAR is used to express location. ¿Dónde estás?-Estoy en la escuela. Where are you?-I’m at school. Los libros están encima de la mesa. The books are on top of the table.

3 ESTAR is used to talk about health. La profesora está enferma hoy. The teacher is sick today.

4 ESTAR is used to talk about well-being. ¿Cómo están Uds.? - Estamos bien, gracias. How are you guys?- We’re well, thanks.
