4 Station 3 Mexico threatens war against South Carolina!

5 Station 4 Kentucky has close to 60,000 people and decides it wants to try to apply for statehood.

6 Station 5 Delaware refuses to allow the postal service carts to travel through its territory.

7 Station 6 Many farmers in Virginia are in debt after a fungus kills much of their tobacco crop. The House of Burgesses decides to print more money to give to the farmers.

8 Station 7 North Carolina, like Virginia, has a fungus in its tobacco. It sells 2 tons of this fungal tobacco to France. Now the French are mad! They refuse to release the shipment of furniture that the New Yorkers have prepaid for until North Carolina replaces the fungal tobacco with fresh tobacco.

9 Station 8 A Massachusetts manufacturer signs a contract with a Georgia plantation owner to buy 1000 bales of cotton each month for one year. After 2 months, he refuses to pay, but he has already used the cotton.

10 Station 9 New Hampshire decides it will only do business with New England states because its legislature says the middle and southern states are too “diverse”. But, New Hampshire is the only state with a large supply of white oak trees, which are very useful to furniture makers.

11 Station 10 Both North Carolina and Virginia stake claim to the same land west of the Appalachian Mountains. Now, settlers from both states are moving here and fights are breaking out.
