2 What does my job involve?Office based consultancy in surrey, founded 2007 Risk assessment of formulated products Cosmetics (hair care, skincare etc) Toys (paints, inks etc) Household products (detergents, cleaners etc)

3 Products we assess are sold….

4 How do we do it? We receive formulations and information on finished products and their raw materials. Research raw materials and assess safety in the product. We produce a report giving a conclusion – Safe/Unsafe – Pass or Fail. Report may includes warning statements and instructions to ensure the products is used safely. Product must be SAFE and LEGAL. Check published regulations.

5 What else have I done? October 2013 New Hong Kong Office3 month secondment to manage the office and train 3 trainee toxicologists Return to Hong Kong in 2014 Attended conferences and training courses around the world. Managed stands at cosmetics exhibitions.

6 How did I get here? 2007 - BSc Medical Biochemistry at UoB2008 – MSc Toxicology at UoB 2008 – 2010 – Job hunting , over 100 jobs, went to many interviews and in-between this - 1 month in America 3 months placement at a medical company in Coventry Various temporary jobs Voluntary work in UK 3 months Volunteering trip to Ghana Saw advert on a website callled Graduate talent pool… October 2010 – Started a Delphic HSE Solutions
