10 Mission Statement BioBAT, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation established to foster the development of affordable biotechnology/science research and manufacturing space in New York City. BioBAT is operating exclusively for: attraction, encouragement, development, improvement and assistance of industry and public and private institutions in New York State by providing facilities and related support for the application of biotechnology, life sciences, and hard sciences research at the Brooklyn Army Terminal. 10
