Bez zastosowania kompresji, szybkość transmisji strumienia video wynosiłaby około 216 Mbit/s. Oznacza to, iż płyta DVD (8GB) mogłaby pomieścić w przybliżeniu około 5 minut video. Wszystkie 5 ramek to ramki typu I. Ramka 1 oraz 5 są typu I. Ramki 2,3,4 są typu P. 5
