3 Types of Colleges: 2-year community college or junior college4-year college/university Public - state funded, generally larger in size, cost of tuition for state resident is significantly lower, residency based on where parent pays state taxes Private - private funding, generally smaller in size, cost for all students is the same, tend to be more generous with financial aid Military families – Please inform your child where your home of record is. This determines your in-state residency.

Attend the Financial Aid workshop on Sept. 22, 2016 at 6:30 pm in the Kalaheo Library. Visit Colleges/Universities during school breaks

17 Athletics: NCAA Division I or Division IITo search by sport - or To register with the NCAA Clearinghouse – Be sure to print out 2 NCAA transcript forms and submit with $2 to the CCC at end of Junior year or before end of Senior Year If you attended other (not public) schools, you must request that they also send transcripts directly to the NCAA Be sure to send SAT and/or ACT scores directly from testing agency to the NCAA Clearinghouse. Students who are eligible for SAT or ACT fee waivers, can also receive an NCAA Clearinghouse fee waiver.
