1 Cledford Primary School NewsletterTelephone: Website: Issue th May 2017 Dear Parents/Carers I’ve enjoyed catching up with many of you this week as we took part in family lunch and welcomed parents of the new reception classes to a meeting. It was a real pleasure to see so many of you and to meet some parents new to the school. If your child is joining us in September and you didn’t make it to a meeting this week, please contact the school office and we can arrange for one of the EYFS team to meet with you. School council have met this week to review their work this year and it’s impact. Our year 5 pupils enjoyed a visit to Middlewich High School where they had an exciting lesson all about plants. Thanks to Middlewich High School staff for being so accommodating. Today we have signed off the half-term with our arts review. It was a pleasure to see so many of you enjoying the sunshine with us as we showcased our work on the outdoor stage. After the holiday we will be joined by the ‘Keystrings’ ensemble for a musical concert on Monday; the PTFA will also meet at 6pm at school. EYFS will be enjoying a ‘WOW’ day on Wednesday 7th June and our year 2 pupils will be off on their residential visit to ‘Foxhowl’ in Delamere Forest at the end of the week. A reminder that the school will be used as a polling station on election day, the 8th June, but remains OPEN to pupils. School closes today for the half-term holiday and re-opens on Monday 5th June.
