5  There are 4 demonstrative adjectives in English: this, that, these, and those.  There are 8 in Spanish, because of gender [remember: there are masculine nouns and feminine nouns].

6  In Spanish, demonstrative adjectives come before the nouns and they have the same gender (masculine or feminine) and number (singular or plural) as the nouns they describe.
