13 Curriculum The design of the curriculum includes professional knowledge in domains like structural, geotechnical and building technology, accompanied with practical thematic courses, emphasizing both the theory and practice. 14 Facility (1/6) In order to meet the needs of teaching, researching, and the developmental features of the department, 8 laboratories were established. Department equipment assets amounted to NT$ 137 million. The Construction Technical Service Lab. and the Seismic Disaster Prevention Lab. 15 Facility (2/6) As a large experiment center in south Taiwan, with the most plentiful equipments across the region south of Hsinchu, the Seismic Disaster Prevention Lab. collaborates with the“ NARL's National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering," completing many of the country's first large-scale experiment.
