5 Key NOTES: All adjectives with SER relate to one’s physical or personality traits. All adjectives in Spanish must be in number and gender agreement with the subject.  Ejemplo: Marcus es atletico. Susie es atletica.  Marcus is a SINGLULAR MASCULINE object---a male! (él) So we must make sure our adjective is in the SINGLUAR MASCULINE form which would be : ATLETICO.  Susie is a Singular Feminine object---A femaile! (eela) So we must make sure out adjective is in number and gender aggreement with out subject : Athletica.

6 Number & Gender agreement: Now if we are talking about more than one person:  Like “ellos/ellas/ustedes/nosotros/nosotras”- all PLURAL subjects; we would add an –S at the end of the adjective IF IT ENDS IN a VOWEL. IF it ends in a CONSONANT, add an –ES to the end.  Ejemplo: Ellos son activos. Ellas son activas.  CFU: Why are we using SON instead of ES or ERES in this sentence?
