Distinción con la Fundación mexicana De 2003 al 2008 las Fundaciones de EUA han hecho 1,286 donativos a organizaciones sociales mexicanas, sumando: 229,512,729 dólares ( ~ 230 millones de dólares) Esto equivale a ~ 2,973 millones de pesos mexicanos Sin embargo, no son 1,286 las organizaciones receptoras, sino poco más de 300 que han logrado recibir VARIAS veces donativos de Fundaciones de EUA 3

16 ¿ Q UÉ ES EL CERI Y DE QUÉ FORMA APOYA A LOS INTERESADOS EN ACCEDER A DONATIVOS COMO ÉSTOS ? El CERI es la única institución en su tipo en México que : Difunde los requisitos legales, fiscales y prácticos para recibir donativos de Estados Unidos, Canadá, y los países miembros de la Unión Europea Difunde los estándares de administración y operación de organizaciones civiles que exigen los donantes internacionales. Ejemplo: Cómo debe estar estructurada mi organización Cuáles son las funciones del Consejo Directivo Cómo debo preparar el proyecto para donantes internacionales Cómo se hace la procuración de fondos internacionales DE FORMA LEGAL, etc. 16
17 ¿ Q UÉ ES EL CERI Y DE QUÉ FORMA APOYA A LOS INTERESADOS EN ACCEDER A DONATIVOS COMO ÉSTOS ? El CERI es patrocinado por: The Foundation Center (en los Estados Unidos) Imagine Canada (en Canadá) The European Foundation Center (en Europa) Y gracias a los CONVENIOS LEGALES INTERNACIONALES que estas instituciones han firmado con el CERI, nuestro personal está LEGALMENTE autorizado para difundir esta información en México 17

20 ¿ Q UÉ ES EL CERI Y DE QUÉ FORMA APOYA A LOS INTERESADOS EN ACCEDER A DONATIVOS COMO ÉSTOS ? Todo el material electrónico producido por nuestros socios internacionales (bases de datos, bibliotecas electrónicas, material bibliográfico, etc.) lo resguarda el CERI en México Cualquier uso indebido de estos materiales será sancionado. Ejem. Reproducción pirata de bases de datos; fotocopiado de material bibliográfico; reproducción ilegal de Talleres del CERI; etc. 20
21 ¿ Q UÉ ES EL CERI Y DE QUÉ FORMA APOYA A LOS INTERESADOS EN ACCEDER A DONATIVOS COMO ÉSTOS ? El CERI no se dedica a procuración de fondos de origen mexicano. Eso lo hacen otras instituciones especializadas. El CERI se enfoca en FONDOS INTERNACIONALES, exclusivamente. Pero este trabajo no lo hace el CERI directamente, sino que capacita a todos los interesados para que lo hagan por sí mismos. !Para no recurrir a intermediarios! 21
22 ¿ C UALQUIER ORGANIZACIÓN MEXICANA PUEDE ACCEDER A DONATIVOS INTERNACIONALES ? Si cumple ciertos requisitos, cualquier persona u organización MEXICANA puede acceder a donativos internacionales A efecto de que TODOS conozcan los requisitos aplicables, el CERI ofrece esta información a través de sus Talleres El CERI busca generar EQUIDAD en el acceso a donativos internacionales, por ello subsidia TODOS sus Talleres El costo promedio por Taller es de $450 pesos mexicanos 22
23 ¿ E N LOS T ALLERES DEL CERI SE APRENDE EL PROCEDIMIENTO PARA RECIBIR DONATIVOS INTERNACIONALES ? En los Talleres del CERI se ofrece absolutamente toda la información necesaria para solicitar donativos internacionales Además, se ofrece el ACCESO GRATUITO a bases de datos que hospedan más de 100,000 donantes internacionales Usted no necesita ningún intermediario para recibir donativos internacionales (los donantes internacionales trabajan directamente con los solicitantes) 23
24 ¿ E N LOS T ALLERES DEL CERI SE APRENDE EL PROCEDIMIENTO PARA RECIBIR DONATIVOS INTERNACIONALES ? El CERI también concede el acceso gratuito a su biblioteca electrónica que hospeda más de 25,000 títulos sobre administración y operación de organizaciones civiles, elaboración de proyectos, preparación de solicitudes de donativos, etc. NOTA: El procedimiento de procuración de fondos internacionales es distinto al mexicano 24

Organizaciones sociales, con o sin registro legal Emprendedores sociales o individuos interesados en constituir una asociación Académicos buscando financiamiento para proyectos de investigación Estudiantes interesados en financiar posgrados internacionales Escritores buscando financiamiento para publicar Artistas de todos los géneros que buscan financiamiento para las diversas manifestaciones de la expresión cultural y artística Fideicomisos públicos -con registro legal Instituciones públicas como las oficinas del Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (DIF), oficinas de Desarrollo Municipal, etc. Escuelas y universidades buscando financiamiento para crear fondos de becas para estudiantes o para proyectos de investigación en beneficio de la comunidad. 25
