3 RD51 R&D Proposal ‘Development of Micro-Pattern Gas Detectors Technologies’ (GEM, micromegas, etc.) submitted to LHCC. 80 pages. Strong involvement of DT group. 54 Universities and Research Laboratories from 20 countries in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. Outcome of 2008 MARS exercise DT1/2 proposals largely accepted. All career path and salary band changes were granted. Some reductions in steps. ! ! ! LHC awards (premiums + 12 steps for DT in October?)
