3 B. What is an infinitive? An infinitive is the original basic form of a verb. An infinitive usually ends in -ar, -er, -ir

4 How do I conjugate a verb that ends in -ar? 1)Drop the ending –ar; you are then left with the stem. Example: Hablar = Habl 2) Add the following ending to the stem: Infinitive stem Yo-oNosotros-amos Tú-as El, Ella, Ud.-aEllos, Ellas, Uds. -an
