The meeting venue is in a newly renovated complex of beautiful old buildings of the Collegium Bernardi, a boarding school operated by Kloster Mehrerau, within easy walking distance to the shore of the Lake Constance, Bregenz City Park, and a nature preserve. Bregenz, the State Capital of Vorarlberg, is a modern city of 27,000 and is the cultural centre of the province. The Collegium Bernardi can house up to 120 guests, participation will be confirmed on first come - first served basis. Please note that the Summer School is being held during the Bregenz Opera Festival – therefore alternative accommodations may be difficult to obtain. Deadline for registration is July 10, 2013 ! PARTICIPATION FEES Registration Accommodation & board 4 days Senior Scientists € 220.00 + € 300.00 = € 520.00 Students/Postdocs (including accommodation) € 100.00 + € 255.00 = € 355.00 Registration fee for students, postdocs and other participants is including entry to all sessions, welcome reception on Sunday afternoon, coffee breaks and the conference handout. The room and full board package for the entire meeting is 300.00 EUR for senior scientists and 255.00 EUR for students and postdocs. In case of accommodation outside the monastery, meals and coffee breaks at the monastery must be paid cash on site. The accommodation costs include accommodation in a double room with shower/toilet (arrival: July 28, departure: August 1st). We also offer triple-bedrooms. If you want to share your room with (a) certain person(s) who is/are also registered for the conference you can do so via the indicated online-registration link by indicating the name(s). Additional nights have to be paid on your own, they only include breakfast and need to be confirmed by EndoScience GmbH. For Students/Postdocs only: Depending on attracted sponsorship, the registration fee can be refunded upon active participation which requires a poster presentation. Students who will be presenting a poster may apply for reimbursement of the registration fee. In addition, a limited number of travel grants will be available for graduate students/postdocs, depending on incoming support from sponsoring companies/organizations. If only limited money is available, poster-presenting students/postdocs will be preferred. Money refunding and participation will be made available on a “first register and pay, first served” basis. Cancellation and refund policy Notification of cancellation must be made in writing until June 30, 2013 and mailed to the congress secretariat with a reference to the bank account where a possible refund may be remitted to. An administrative fee of 30 € will be charged for refunds. Cancellation and refund fee Before July 10, 2013, total refund (excluding the administrative fee). After July 10, 2013 no refunds should be expected. Credit will not be given for unattended events, late arrivals or early departure. All refunds will only be processed after the Meeting. The Bregenz Opera Festival will be presenting Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte” on the floating stage and “Der Kaufmann von Venedig” by André Tchaikowsky in the Opera house (only on Sunday, July 28) with ticket prices between 30-215 €.
