7 To fulfill the Personal Project requirements scholars must: Select a project and Mr. Andrews will assign a mentor to supervise the project Record the process and progress in the Personal Project Journal Incorporate three Areas of Interaction in the project, with one area being Approaches to Learning Document 5 meetings with his/her mentor Turn in a completed research paper to Mr. Andrews for a class grade To fulfill the written requirement scholars must Write a thousand word essay that contains: The Essential Question (Introduction) The student's Process (as extracted from the Journal) The student's Personal Statement (How do the Areas of Interaction relate to this project?) The Conclusion (What answers to the Essential Question did the student find?) THE WRITTEN REQUIREMENTS

8 The majority of the project is completed outside of school. GRADES ARE AWARDED FOR THE PERSONAL PROJECT IN THE SAME WAY AS FOR THE EIGHT SUBJECT GROUPS OF THE MYP CURRICULUM.
