8 Learned helplessness/Una persona que aprende ser indefenso : Occurs when:  Parents over-function and their child under-functions.  Children don’t do certain things for themselves or get a chance to practice or master certain life skills. Ocurre cuando:  Los padres sobre-funcionan y los hijos no-funcionan.  Los niños que no hacen ciertas cosas por sí mismos, no tienen la oportunidad de practicar o dominar ciertas habilidades de la vida.

9 To avoid learned helplessness /Para evitar siendo indefenso:  Talk with your child and pull back.  Let your child experience the consequences!  Hable con su hijo/a y deja de intervenir.  Deje que su niño/a enfrente a las consecuencias!
