Receiving 11.000 visitors per year initialy. (Now we receive about 4.000 peoples per year) Acummulated visitors up to December 2003: 245.500 people. Attendance to talks, discussions, conversations, etc. Social-Cultural activities regarding the environment. Publications

4 Iberdrola Generación, SA Producción Nuclear4 Cofrentes NPP, Public Relations Cofrentes NPP, Public Relations INFORMATION CENTRE Typical visit in Cofrentes NPP before 9/11 incidents: Access to the Information Centre offering the visitors information trought panels, audio-visuals, mock-ups and interactive simulator. After this, all visits had the opportunity of visiting the area of the nuclears buildings, seen closely the reactor, fuel, turbine and cooling towers buildings, defusing in this way the nuclear subject and giving them a real perspective of things. These types of visits have always been seen favourably by the visitors, who dispelled any doubts about the condition of the Plant and its activity.

SOLUTIONS THAT WE HAVE ADOPTED TO PLEASE THE VISITOR We use big pictures in screen to explain what they could see if this prohibition didn't exist We use short videos on very concrete works, as for example refuelling outage We approach to the exterior of the enclosure with bus without getting off the vehicle
