3 What is an Indirect object? An indirect object is a person or thing that benefits from the action of a verb.

4 For example She reads the book to us. They give the present to me. I sell the earrings to her. We send the letters to you. You return the book to him.

7 IOP can go before the verb or at the end of certain verbs Ella nos va a leer el libro. Ellos me quieren dar el regalo. Le estoy vendiendo los aretes a ella. Ella va a leernos el libro. Ellos quieren darme el regalo. Estoy vendiéndole los aretes a ella.

8 For positive commands they must go at the end Mándanos la carta. Devuélvele el libro a él. Léenos el libro. Dame el regalo. Véndele los aretes a ella.
