4 Supervivencia del paciente a partir del primer año en función del año del trasplante (ELTR)However, most of this improvement in survival is really due to a reduction in early mortality, during the first 3 to 6 months, whereas rates of later graft loss have not really improved over the years, as shown on this ELTR graph the most critical period accounts for the largest share of morbidity and mortality.
