2 Who is a permanent resident (“perm res”)?Permanent resident = green card holder Eligible for citizenship 5 years after immigration Eligible for federal student aid and in-state tuition Permanent residence = legal permanent residence

3 Who is NOT a permanent resident?Dreamers (undocumented students) Holders of non-immigrant visas, including F1, J1, M1, B-1, B-2, A-1, G-1…etc. (student visas, business visas, tourist visas, diplomatic visas, etc.)
