2 Laser Hair Removal – How it works  The laser emits a gentle beam of light which is absorbed only by the hair follicle (leaving the skin unharmed). This light energy is transformed to heat which destroys the hair follicle permanently. That’s really all there is to it.  This is called ‘Selective Photothermolysis’.
