4 Access to Published ResourcesSearch Engine: generates a list of resources by typing a keyword/topic Browse Views: K to 12 Ladder – LRs are organized according to Grade Level/ Learning Area/ Topic Catalogue View – browse LRs according to Learning Areas

5 Access to Published ResourcesMedia Gallery: selecting the “Create” icon at the home page allows teachers to create their own resource by using DepEd owned photos, illustrations, video, and audio files.

26 Metadata in the LRMDS PortalThe metadata is used to find resources and to select resources General metadata: title, description, keywords Educational metadata: domain, discipline, pedagogy Life cycle metadata: origin, creation, version, contributors Technical metadata: size, format, media Rights Management metadata: copyright, permissions, conditions of use Meta-metadata: management and maintenance
