2 ¿Cuándo usamos mandatos formales? Usted commands are used when telling someone to do something in a respectful and polite way. In Latin America, ustedes commands are used when addressing more than one person (you all/ya’ll) For example, a doctor might say “Haga más ejercicio” to a patient or a teacher might say “Lean los libros” to the class.
