They can be classified according to NUMBER, person, GENDER (male or female), and FORMALITY (formal or informal). The main difference in Spanish and English is that, in Spanish, subject pronouns can be OMITTED once the speaker knows who the subject is. Ejemplos: Tú y yo jugamos. (You and I play.)
