10 Task #3 (20 minutos)  Usando su vocabulario, escriban una historia en español. (Using your vocabulary, create and write a story using the vocabulary)  Tienen que usar un mínimo de 8 palabras pero no mas de 10. (You must use at least 8 vocabulary words but no more than 10. Words cannot repeat.)  Esta historia va ser entregada. Escríbanla en otro papel. (You are turning it in and it should be on a seperate sheet of paper.)  Natives: La historia debe ser en español. El vocabulario debe de ser subrayado.  NN: Your story can be in Spanglish. The vocabulary must be in Spanish and underlined.

11 Comunicación  En parejas, representen una de estas situaciones. (In partners, represent one of the following situations. One will be student #1 and the other will be student #2 for all of the situations.)  Den detalles, excusas, razones y traten de buscar una solución al problema. (Make sure to give details, excuses, reasons and find a solution to the problem.)  You will need one sheet of paper per student. Make sure you write Student #1 or Student #2 at the top of the paper. Each person will write their own solution to the problem relating to the student number they are. Both papers will be turned in together.

12 Problema #1 (10 minutes to write, 5 minutes to share)  Estudiante #1: Eres un(a) huésped (guest) en un hotel que esta muy sucio. No te gusta el servicio de habitación y además hace demasiado calor en tu cuarto.  Estudiante #2: Tu tío te ha dejado a cargo de su hotel. Es temporada alta y, como el hotel esta lleno, tienes mucho trabajo. No sabes que hacer.

13 Problema #2 (10 minutes to write, 5 minutes to share)  Estudiante #1: Llegas al aeropuerto y te das cuenta de que dejaste el pasaporte en tu casa. Además, en la ciudad hay mucho congestionamiento (a lot of cars).  Estudiante #2: Eres taxista en el aeropuerto. Como has estado muy estresado/a, el medico te ha recomendado no apurarte (hurry) por ningún motivo.

14 Problema #3 (10 minutes to write, 5 minutes to share)  Estudiante #1: Ibas manejando y has tenido un accidente. Te bajas del carro para hablar con el/la otro/a conductor(a). No tienes los papeles del seguro.  Estudiante #2: Ibas manejando y has tenido un accidente. No llevabas el cinturón de seguridad y te has roto una pierna.

15 Problema #4 (10 minutes to write, 5 minutes to share)  Estudiante #1: Trabajas como agente del gobierno en la frontera. Nadie puede cruzar sin su pasaporte.  Estudiante #2: Después de viajar por muchas horas, llegas con tu hermano/a a la frontera. Aunque traes tu identificación, olvidaste tu pasaporte.

16 Itinerario  With the same partner, you will create a detailed itinerary for tourist.  You MUST come to an agreement and pick a Spanish- speaking country.  You have to organize a tourist visit for 3 days.  Instead of a brochure, you will create your itinerary on google slides or prezi.  Each person is responsible of researching and answering 5 of the following questions. Make sure to be fair and work together.  Include pictures and be creative.

17 Itinerario  ¿ Quiénes son los/las turistas?  ¿A qué aeropuerto o estación llegan?  ¿En qué hotel se alojan?  ¿Qué excursiones pueden hacer?  ¿Qué lugares exóticos hay para visitar?  ¿Adonde pueden ir con un(a) guía turístico/a?  ¿Pueden navegar en algún mar, lago o rio? ¿En cuál?  ¿Qué museos, parques, o edificios hay para visitar?  ¿Qué deportes pueden practicar?  ¿Mas o menos, cuánto dinero deben llevar para la visita?
