8 UNESCO Janusz Korczak Chair: main informationThe primary objectives of the Chair: to develop partnership and cooperation by building university networks to encourage inter-university cooperation through the transfer of knowledge across borders to maintain and strengthen academic links in the field of interdisciplinary studies on child development and well-being Themes and topics of organized events: education, pedagogy, interdisciplinary studies on child development and Well-being cultural diversity, sustainable development human rights , children’s rights intercultural education modern psychological, pedagogical and sociological challenges The UNESCO Chair conducts the research programs, participates in conferences, seminars, debates, study visits and since 2006, organizes the International Summer Schools. All of the Chair’s activities are aligned with UNESCO’s priorities in relation to humanities and social sciences. We undertake activities which respond to the challenges of the modern world defined by Sustainable Development Goals.

12 11-th International Summer School12 The 11th International Summer School relate to an exchange of international experiences connected with academic and research as well as practical aspects of contemporary migration problems. The subjects focus on three key issues: Theoretical premises and challenges which researchers and practitioners face in the contemporary migration crisis,  Research referring to the situation and needs of refugee and migrant children and youth as well problems in their adaptation and integration in host and transit countries,  Practices connected with the support for migrant and refugee children and youth and their closest environment.
