2 Month 1 - MDL 510 Mastery: Personal Development and LeadershipGoals: gained better understanding of what it takes to continue my desired field of master. This course helped me understand more on how to be a master/Graduate student. And also how to become a successful student who has her own creative ideas. Strategies: Learned how to use Full Sail library and how to look things up using lynda.com. Read the book Mastery by Robert Greene. Watched most of Greene’s YouTube videos and started to read more to gain more understanding and knowledge.

3 Month 2 - PBR 510 Public Relations in a Digital WorldGoals: i will learn how to expand my knowledge in public relations and about the role of PR across various departments within an organization and how a public relations team responds to a range of circumstances and priorities. Strategies: View the ‘’PR fundamentals’’ video on lynda.com Try to stay in contact with people who has an older experience and speak with mentors in order to gain more knowledge. staying current and keeping up with public relations blogs such as BuzzFeed and Mannfolk.

4 Month 3 - NMJ 520 Writing for Interactive MediaGoals: I will learn how to narrative stories for visual and digital media while learning through experience about the critical role that multimedia methods play in engaging audiences with complex information. I will master narrative principles by examining new ways of telling interactiveIn this course I want to increase my writing skills to another level and learn new techniques. Strategies: Network more on social media, such as blogging on LinkedIn watch the ‘’understanding business writing ‘’ / ‘’ business Writing Fundamentals’’ video posted on lynda.com Research more about types of writings that are used in media.

5 Month 4 - NMJ 642 Legal Aspects of MediaGoals: In this course I’ll learn how to identify complex media legal issues presented by the expansion of digital and mobile technologies. I will learn about different types of legal media issues , and also gain better insights of legal aspects of media that will help me in the future. Strategies: Watch the ‘’ business ethics: Matters and practice ’’ On lynda.com to gain more understanding of the subject. Do more researches about legal aspects to learn more about it and to understand/analyze the difference between each and every possible case. Read articles posted on ‘’ MACOMB DAILY’’ Such as ‘’The legal aspects of social media’’ by Robin Luce Herrmann.

6 Month 5 - PBR 540 Innovative Public Relations Tools and ResourcesGoals: I’ll learn about how media techniques and technologies can solve different communication problems. I will learn more about social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. I will gain a deeper understanding of each platform as well as examine the kinds of tactical and strategic problems each technology addresses in the context of a Public Relations campaign. 7 Month 6 - PBR 550 Social Media Metrics and ROIGoals: I will have the ability to measure and evaluate the impact of public relations efforts is critical to ensuring the success of any marketing and/or public relations campaign. I will learn how to track, report, and analyse a variety of metrics and ROI. Strategies: Do a research on Full Sail library or Google to understand more about Metrics and ROI. 8 Month 7 - PBR 560 Market and Consumer Research AnalysisGoals: I’ll be learning how to examine the difference between the market competitors and consumers. I will learn how to target their public relations campaigns to attract their desired client and become a market, analyzing and know how to use the right tools at the right time. Strategies: Read the article by Edward Appleton on GREENBOOK that explains about the difference between Consumer Insights and Market. 9 Month 8 - PBR 610 Media RelationsGoals: i will learn everything about the media and how to be a professional and I will know what is it like to be a journalist in the digital world and in the social media and how to engage with the media in a professional manner to achieve their public relations goal in the best way. And examine how PR is used to support and enhance events such as trade shows, product launches, and press conferences. 11 Month 10 - PBR 650 Reputation Management StrategiesGoals: I will learn how to monitor and respond to changes in sentiment and conditions that impact organizational initiatives. Also, how to maintain and manage a clients or company’s reputation. Strategies: Watch the video ‘’managing Your Online Reputation’’ on lynda.com which will teach you more on how to handle a company’s reputation. Read the article ‘’5 efficient reputation management strategies’’ on RAGAN’S PR Daily Research on how a company can be better managing their own reputation.

12 Month 11 - PBR 640 The Online Media RoomGoals: i will learn how to develop, integrate, and manage online media assets within the organization’s webpage to support both external and internal public relations message. Develop and manage tools for an online presence in the media. Strategies: Watch the ‘’ Maintaining an Online Presence’’ video on lynda.com to gain more knowledge. Do a research on the most successful companies and what have they been doing in order to reach to where they are. Download the PDF file which will help you know more about your online presence.

13 Month 12 - PBR 699 Public Relations Final Project and ThesisGoals: I’ll be creating/working on my final project and thesis. Strategies: Watch ‘’ developing and executing a public relations plan ‘’ on lynda.com Go back through all the past 11 months work, assignments and journals. Take a look at other people’s work and my own undergraduate work to have more ideas and come out with something unique and creative.
