8 Ms. Eaton’s Homework AssignmentsELA: For Quarter 1, students will read a chapter of The Lightning Thief every night for homework. Most of the time there will also be a question to answer in The Lightning Thief workbook. Students need to bring their book and workbook to class everyday. Social Studies homework will be to complete what was started in class or to study their notes for tests and quizzes

9 Ms. Gutscher’s Homework AssignmentsYour child will have homework every night. Please understand that homework consists of worksheets, bookwork, projects, reading, online activities/research, test corrections, and studying notes from class. Students should do a little each night. Encourage him/her not to wait until the last minute to do an assignment. It will be much easier to keep up if they prioritize and study each night. There will be a graded weekly-check every Friday that covers classroom notes and homework.

Snack time is a privilege and not a right. Teachers reserve the right to discontinue snack time at any time if it becomes a disturbance. Students are allowed to bring a water bottle to class. No other drinks are allowed in the classroom. Students will not be allowed to leave the classroom to use the water fountain during instruction, therefore, water bottles are highly encouraged.
