12  When we translate gustar, we are really saying:  It is pleasing to me  To form gustar, first we need an indirect object pronoun:  menos  teos  leles  This refers to the person who the object is pleasing to.

14 GUSTAR + NOUN When the verb gustar is followed by a noun, the verb must agree in ________ with the noun (the subject). number

15  When Gustar is followed by a verb or multiple verbs, the singular form of gustar is used.  A Juan le gusta bailar y Cantar.  A los chicos les gusta comer las papas fritas.

16  Since the person doing the liking in Spanish is an indirect object, we must have an “A” before their name:  A míA nosotros  A ti A vosotros  A CarlosA Juana y a Ana
