Speak, O Lord
Speak, O Lord, as we come to You, To receive the food of Your Holy Word. Take Your truth, plant it deep in us; Shape and fashion us in Your likeness;
That the light of Christ might be seen today In our acts of love and our deeds of faith. Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us All Your purposes for Your glory.
Teach us Lord, full obedience, Holy reverence, true humility Test our thoughts and our attitudes In the radiance of Your purity.
Your majestic love and authority. Words of power that can never fail; Cause our faith to rise, cause our eyes to see Your majestic love and authority. Words of power that can never fail; Let their truth prevail over unbelief.
Speak, O Lord and renew our minds; Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us. Truths unchanged from the dawn of time, That will echo down through eternity.
And by grace we’ll stand on Your promises; And by faith we’ll walk as You walk with us. Speak, O Lord, ‘til Your church is built, And the earth is filled with Your glory.

In Christ Alone
In Christ alone my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song This Cornerstone, this solid ground Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
My All in All Here in the love of Christ I standWhat heights of love, what depths of peace When fears are stilled, when strivings cease My Comforter, My All in All Here in the love of Christ I stand
In Christ alone, who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless babe This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save
'Till on that cross as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied For every sin on Him was laid Here in the death of Christ I live
There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain Then bursting forth in glorious Day Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory Sin's curse has lost it's grip on me For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ
No guilt in life, no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me From life's first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand 'Till He returns or calls me home Here in the power of Christ I'll stand
I Give All to You
I give all my service to You I give all my service to You No matter the cost or what others do I give all my service to You

For thus says the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Isaiah 57:15:
and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. So will I make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not let them pollute My holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. Ezekiel 39:7
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation,a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light: 1 Peter 2:9

Zechariah’s Visions Vision Meaning3. The Surveyor with a Measuring Line (Zechariah 2) God's future blessing on restored Israel. 4. The Cleansing and Crowning of Joshua, the High Priest (Zechariah 3) Israel's future cleansing from sin and reinstatement as a priestly nation. The “Branch” and the “Stone” deferred until next time.

2 When I looked again, I saw a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 “Where are you going?” I asked. He replied, “I am going to measure Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is.”
3 Then the angel who was with me wentto meet a second angel who was coming toward him. 4 The other angel said, “Hurry, and say to that young man,
Many will live outside the city walls.‘Jerusalem will someday be so full of people and livestock that there won’t be room enough for everyone! Many will live outside the city walls.
all the distant coastlands.11 In that day the Lord will reach out His hand a second time to bring back the remnant of His people—those who remain in Assyria and northern Egypt; in southern Egypt, Ethiopia, and Elam; in Babylonia, Hamath, and all the distant coastlands.
from the ends of the earth.12 He will raise a flag among the nations and assemble the exiles of Israel. He will gather the scattered people of Judah from the ends of the earth. Isaiah 11:11-12
5 Then I, Myself, will be a protective wall of fire around Jerusalem, says the L0RD. And I will be the glory inside the city!’”
6 The LORD says, “Come away![Up! Up! Come! Come!]
6 The LORD says, “Come away!Flee from Babylon in the land of the north, for I have scattered you to the four winds. 7 Come away, people of Zion, you who are exiled in Babylon!”

My most precious possession8 After a period of glory, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies sent Me against the nations who plundered you. For He said, “Anyone who harms you harms My most precious possession [the apple of My eye].
9 I will raise my fist to crush them, and their own slaves will plunder them.” Then you will know that the LORD of Heaven’s Armies has sent Me.
10 The LORD says, “Shout and rejoice, O beautiful Jerusalem, for I am coming to live among you. 11 Many nations will join themselves to the LORD on that day, and they, too, will be My people. I will live among you, and you will know that the LORD of Heaven’s Armies sent Me to you.
He will once again choose Jerusalem to be His own city.12 The land of Judah will be the LORD’s special possession in the holy land, and He will once again choose Jerusalem to be His own city.

12 The land of Judah will be the LORD’s special possession in the holy land, andHe will once again choose Jerusalem to be His own city. 13 Be silent before the LORD, all humanity, for He is springing into action from His holy dwelling.”
High priest – represents the nation of Israel…the accuser of our brothers and sisters…the one who accuses them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10
His condition is Israel’s condition His acquittal represents theirs The high priest, in his holy office represents and practically impersonates Israel. His condition is Israel’s condition His acquittal represents theirs Comfort given to him applies to them. Exposition of Zechariah, Leupold
NOTE: In this vision, there are neither questions from Zechariah nor explanations by the angel.
making accusations against Joshua.3 Then the angel showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD. The Accuser, Satan, was there at the angel’s right hand, [opposing] making accusations against Joshua.
2 And the LORD said to Satan, “I, the LORD, reject your accusations, Satan.
the One who is truly righteous. My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the One who is truly righteous. 1John 2:1
2 And the LORD said to Satan, “I, the LORD, reject your accusations, Satan.Yes, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.”

“Take off his filthy clothes.”3 Joshua’s clothing was filthy* as he stood there before the angel. 4 So the Angel said to the others standing there, “Take off his filthy clothes.” Only twice in Scripture – both times in this chapter Joshua looked and smelled bad
And turning to Joshua He said, “See, I have taken away your sins, and now I am giving you these fine new clothes.”
6 But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are likefilthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Isaiah 64:6
the angel of the LORD stood by.5 Then I said, “They should also place a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean priestly turban on his head and dressed him in new clothes while the angel of the LORD stood by.
HOLINESS TO THE LORD
HOLINESS TO THE LORD. 36 “You shall also make a plate of pure goldand engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet: HOLINESS TO THE LORD. 37 And you shall put it on a blue cord, that it may be on the turban; it shall be on the front of the turban.
38 So it shall be on Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things which the children of Israel hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall always be on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord. Exodus 28:36-38
Like Joshua, Israel will be used of the Lord in the future. After the church has been removed in the rapture, Israel will be the witness during the Tribulation, and then during the Millennium the entire nation will be a priesthood down here upon the earth. J.V. McGee
23 …be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. 22 …put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, Ephesians 4
6 Then the angel of the LORD spoke very solemnly to Joshua and said, 7 “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says:
If you follow My ways and carefully I will let you walk among theseserve Me, then you will be given authority over My Temple and its courtyards. I will let you walk among these others standing here.
What Next? What Next?? Do you ever find Satan at your right hand opposing and accusing you? Yet, see the Lord who fights for you. The Lord commands those filthy garments of sin and iniquity removed, so He can clothe you with rich robes, and put a clean turban on your head.
The battlefield truly is in your mind,What Next? What Next?? The battlefield truly is in your mind, but God triumphs even in your thinking, helping you to take every thought captive. And the best part: the Angel of the Lord stands by you, fighting for you in every circumstance. Unknown
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation,What Next? But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light: 1 Peter 2:9
What Next? 23 …be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. 22 …put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, Ephesians 4

and you will be honoured along with Him. 12 Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honoured because of the way you live, and you will be honoured along with Him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ. 1 Thess. 4:11-12
