2 Nunca = never Tampoco = neither Nunca / TampocoThese words can take the place of “no”, or they can be added to the end of a sentence that already has “no” in it.

3 No voy a la playa. vs. Nunca voy a la playa. No voy a la playa nunca.No hago la tarea, nunca. ¡No quiero hacer la tarea, tampoco! ¡No vamos a estudiar, tampoco! ¡Tú no tienes la tarea, tampoco!

4 Nada = nothing Nada Nada es fácil. Nada es interesante.*When used as the subject of the sentence Nada es fácil. Nada es interesante. Nada cuesta mucho en Wal- Mart.

5 Nada Nada = anything/nothing No quiero comer nada. No tengo nada.*When used AFTER a verb. *Must also make use the word “no” with the sentence and make a “double negative” No quiero comer nada. No tengo nada. No entiendo nada en la clase de español.

6 Nadie Nadie = nobody / not anybody No hay nadie en la clase hoy.*When used AFTER a verb, “no” must be placed before the verb. No hay nadie en la clase hoy. No quiero hablar con nadie. Nadie quiere hacer la tarea.
