25 The Invisible Man - 1929 El surrealismo es un movimiento del arte moderno en que el artista explora el subconsciente en la obra. Dalí saca sus ideas e imágenes de los sueños. Dalí dijo que producía sus pinturas en un estado de delirio psicológico.

26 Otras influencias en la obras de Dalí…  Los insectos – el saltamontes.  Cuando era niño sus compañeros de la escuela lo aterrorizaba matando insectos y poniendo los insectos muertos en su escritorio. Dalí incluye estas referencias de su niñez en sus obras.

27 The Madonna of Port Lligat - 1949 Otro tema importante es la religión.

28 Dalí incluye muchos símbolos en sus obras como los otros artistas que hemos estudiado. El huevo aquí puede ser una referencia al renacimiento del bautismo.

29 The Three Sphixes of Bikini - 1947 Esta obra destaca otra influencia importante en las obras de Dalí, o sea, otro tema—el átomo o la guerra atómica.

30 Se nota la influencia o la obsesión de Dalí en las bombas atómicas de la segunda guerra mundial. En 1945 los EE.UU. destruyó la ciudad de Hiroshima, Japón.
