Sexual Indoctrination in Public Schools (AISD)What parents need to know and what they can do August 2017 Concerned Parents of Austin
Why are we here this afternoon?Austin ISD is making radical changes to their sex education in For the first time in AISD history, Comprehensive Sex ED (CSE) will be taught in K to 5th grades. Welcoming Schools trains teachers on how to introduce topics of human sexuality beginning with PreK to 8th grade. We believe parents have the right to know this and what is at stake – and that’s why we are having this meeting.
Why should this concern us?Kids are becoming sexualized younger and younger. 8 year old drag queen “Lactatia”
What is being implemented at AISD?Anti-bullying Welcoming Schools Health education 3R’s Library books School-wide events Clubs Teacher training introduced into regular curriculum
Welcoming Schools USES SOCIAL PRESSURE TO MOLD CHILDREN’S BELIEFS ON:Homosexuality Gender ideology/transgenderism Designed for elementary children as young as 4 HRC is the world’s largest and best-funded homosexual-transgender lobby organization. Usually employ a tactic in which they equate people with sincerely-held moral beliefs opposed to homosexuality and gender ideology to anti-social “haters,” “bigots” and “phobes.” They also compare moral-minded opponents to racists. Designed as an anti-bullying program - bypasses normal approval channels. Using pro-homosexual picture books and puppets, it redefines the family and indoctrinates children on homosexuality and transgenderism. Currently in 24 elementary schools in AISD, more planned for this fall America's largest LGBTQ lobbying organization, with millions in funding

The District claimed to have no relationship with Human Rights Campaign. Yet …
AISD E-mails from FOIA Request From: Charles Girard To: Darla Caughey 10/2/2015“My name is Charles Girard and I work the Welcoming Schools Project as the Human Rights Campaign…” “and we know you have be doing wonderful work in Austin as an ambassador for our program” “...we will be requesting this information (lesson plans, trainings) four times a year”
Regarding parental opt out for the program …
AISD s from FOIA Request From: Paul Cruz To: Angela Ward, Beverly Reeves, Jacob Reach 3/22/2017 “One question can parents opt their kids out of receiving lessons as a part of WC.” Response from Angela Ward 3/23…”One key component you will notice in the excerpt from the training framework below is engagement of parents before, during and after the campus staff engage in Welcoming Schools modules.”
AISD E-mails from FOIA Request From: Angela Ward To: Paul Cruz 3/23/2017 continued…“As we study the possibility of implementing WS we realized that not all stakeholders are in a space where LGBTQ identity development can be discussed openly.” “...with the ability to offer the campus principal the choice to suspend module implementation prior to module 3 if they are not able to garner parent support.” Parents always have the option to opt out of any classroom lesson…
At Caryl Ayala’s school, no opt out letters were sent to parents.
AISD E-mails from FOIA Request From: Erica Bodain To: Darla Caughey 4/14/2017“…I’m creating a one page handout to distribute to the CAC and I’d like to list some schools with some similar profiles to Casey. In my conversations with teachers some of the concerns raised are that some parents might be conservative; that we have too high of a Latino population and that no other schools are doing it…”
When researching Welcoming Schools at AISD, we came across the District’s plans to introduce sexuality education in younger grades.
AISD SHAC Minutes 5/3/2017 “ We will be teaching students the medically accurate terms for body parts including penis and vulva. A working group identified 3 R’s as the primary resource…” “Training will be offered in the Fall semester to implement in the Spring semester. We want parents to opt out per lesson instead of current practice of opting out of the whole curriculum” “…3 R’s is a K-12 sexual health curriculum created by Advocates for Youth”
“3 R’s” Program Rights Respect ResponsibilityKey Facts “3 R’s” Program Rights Respect Responsibility Advocates for youth is an outgrowth of the population control movement of the 1960s and '70s In 2001, Advocates began to frame the abstinence-only sex education debate as an assault on public health…this later became a cornerstone of the Obama administration's guiding principles... Advocates for abortion, sexual “rights” for children.

W hy does such a small minority of the population have so much weight in the ways our children are educated?
This has nothing to do with hateThis has nothing to do with hate. Children are being pushed to accept and experiment with demonstrably HIGH RISK LIFESTYLES. This book presents data from 1800 footnoted and verifiable sources and studies, many done by the CDC, about the health risks present in the gay population. Children are at higher risk when engaging in these practices Minority communities disproportionately affected: E.g. 50% of black and 25% of Latino men who have sex with men will contract HIV in their lifetime (2016 CDC study) https://www.cdc.gov/nchhstp/newsroom/2016/croi-press-release-risk.html

Whose beliefs, language and values?Karl Marx Margaret Sanger Alfred Kinsey Writer of the Communist Manifesto (1848) Main goal: Destruction of the family and religion One means: Growth of unconstrained sexual intercourse among women Founder of Planned Parenthood Racist and eugenecist – ridding world of “human weeds” through contraception Separation of sex from childbearing would lead to women as objects of sex Pedophile and extreme sexual deviant Belief that children can receive sexual pleasure from birth His ‘research’, based on other deviants, shaped society’s modern concepts of sexuality “Abolition of the family! Even the most radical flare up at this infamous proposal of the Communists.” – Karl Marx, The Communist Manifesto, 1848 Writer of the Communist Manifesto (1848) Main goal: Destruction of the family and religion One means: Growth of unconstrained sexual intercourse among women

Kinsey’s “research” (i. eKinsey’s “research” (i.e. sexual torture of infants and children) led to the belief that children are sexual from birth This belief was carried on by Kinsey’s associate Mary Calderone, who founded SIECUS to create guidelines for children’s sex education.
Sexual Rights over Sexual HealthTenets of the Sex Ed movement 1 Anything goes, no judgments allowed. Even on established high-risk behavior. Focus on sexual rights of children. 2 The more information and the earlier your small children get it, the better. 3 Sexuality is our entire selves, influences us in every way, and encompasses everything. There are many ways to express sexuality and each is equal. 4 Children have the right to question their parent’s ideas about sex, to explore their own sexuality through experimentation and to develop their own values. 5 Not Sexual health – SEXUAL FREEDOM Ablity to engage in sexual activity without any limits or morals guiding that practice …and parents have the duty to support them in their quest, without judgment. Sexual Rights over Sexual Health Adapted from the book “You’re Teaching My Child What?” by Dr. Miriam Grossman
What are the consequences of sexual practice during adolescence?Children & adolescents at higher risk of contracting an STI1 multiple and higher risk sexual partners and immature cervical tissue Two in five sexually active female adolescents have had an STI2 STI’s can cause infertility and even death Gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia are becoming resistant to antibiotics3 Viral STIs like HPV can lead to cervical cancer Condoms reduce risk but cannot fully protect Emotional harm from early sexual practice Oxytocin – the bonding hormone Higher depression linked with STIs as well as sexual activity4 1CDC, January 2009; available at: 2Forhan, S. 52 Types of Sex Education Sexual Risk Avoidance Sexual Risk ReductionAbstinence-Only Education Abstinence Plus Education Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE) Contraception Education No Mention of Contraception Advocate for Contraception Use SRA Abstinence SRR “Comprehensive” Emphasis on Abstinence Devote more than 50% of page content to promoting abstinence Devote less than 5% of their page content to SRA. Allocate six times more content to the goal of promoting contraception than to the goal of promoting abstinence. Focus Risk elimination. (abstinence) Risk reduction. (contraceptive use, especially condoms) Message Focused. (Abstinence until marriage is clearly the BEST choice.) Mixed. (EITHER abstinence OR having sex with a condom are equally good choices; or, abstinence is marginally better than having sex with contraception.) Philosophy a) Teen sex and/or casual sex is problematic, even if contraception is used, based on risk of STDs, pregnancy, and negative emotional consequences a) As long as contraception is used, teen sex and/or casual sex is unproblematic. There are no potential negative emotional consequences. b) Armed with full information about the risks of teen sex and the benefits of abstinence, teens CAN and DO choose to refrain from having sex. (The majority of teens today – 53% - have not had sex.) b) Teen sex is expected, inevitable, and a natural part of healthy sexual development. Behavioral Goal Delayed sexual initiation, preferably until marriage, or “renewed abstinence” for the student already sexually experienced. Increased contraceptive use, especially condom. 53 2007 HHS Report on Comprehensive Sex Ed Programs in AmericaAmount of time dedicated to “safer sex” exceeded that spent on abstinence by a factor of up to seven. Some of the programs failed to mention abstinence altogether. None carefully distinguished between reducing and eliminating the risks of sexual activity and almost all failed to mention the emotional consequences of early sexual activity Although some programs showed a small effect in reducing “unprotected” sex (7 of 9 programs) and to a lesser extent in delaying sexual debut (2 of 8 programs), the impact did not extend beyond six months.
