3 Monthly Direct ReimbursementUSHL Pay 8% of the cost of a gallon of gas/mile Example: $3.29/gallon equals $0.264/mile If gas goes to $3.00 and below, they pay 10% the cost of a gallon of gas/mile. Rate is determined by cost of Standard Grade fuel at nearest gas station to Coordinators house on the 10th of each month. Paid directly by the USHL on the 15th of the month via direct deposit. A local game is considered within 50 miles, one way and does NOT pay mileage. The worksheet automatically takes this into effect.
4 NAHL Pay $0.22/mile League automatically deducts miles for local travel 0-249 miles (-0 miles) (-50 miles) (-100 miles) (-150 miles) 2500 and up (-200 miles) Deductions are based on total miles driven during a month. Deductions will be taken automatically. Submit miles based on Mileage Calculator Paid directly by the NAHL within one month of submission deadline via direct deposit.
5 SPHL Mileage is based off a mileage pool paid by all the teams.Mileage will not be less than $0.15/mile Mileage varies by number of games played/month. Average last year was $0.198/mile. Paid through Ranger via an “Adjustment” on the 25th of the month by USA Hockey via Steve Tatro.
6 End of Season Bonus MileageACHA Approximately $9/official/game Paid to officials who work 10/15 games or more. Season - $9.89/game/official
7 How to Submit Monthly Mileage Submission FormIf you worked in the USHL, NAHL,NA3HL, or SPHL in a given month you will get an telling it’s time to submit. Usually sent out around the 1st of the month. will contain instructions and a link to an Excel Worksheet ODP Mileage Submission Worksheet Follow all instructions and fill out the form There is a link at the bottom of the worksheet that will send you to the Mileage Submission Form which is an online form. End of Season Bonus Leagues (ACHA) Paid automatically at the end of the season. You do NOT have to submit for this.
8 DEADLINES!!!! The 10th of each month at midnight CST.You submit for the month prior. Example: Submit for Sept by Oct 10th The submission form automatically closes at midnight. Mileage for all leagues is submitted on a single form. Late submissions: SPHL: Forfeiture of all mileage that month Mileage is paid from a pool. Once is paid, it’s gone. USHL/NAHL/NA3HL Must alert myself or Chris Allman A fine of 10% will be levied. Fine increases for subsequent late submissions.(5%/occurrence) Mileage will be paid on the following month’s report You CANNOT submit more than one month at a time.

12 General Rules We do NOT pay mileage for rental cars in Alaska (NAHL)Must include EVERY game assigned by the ODP in your worksheet. Why? Submit miles for games you drove YOUR car. You still have to include games that you didn’t drive Enter ZERO miles Failure to follow this rule will result in immediate dismissal from the ODP If you rode in someone’s car or flew as paid for by ODP, enter ZERO miles.

14 General Rules – Cont. Each row of the worksheet is for one “LEG” of a trip. Example: Live in DSM, work in Lincoln and drove home after game. Leg 1 – DSM to LINC Leg 2 – LINC to DSM Do not put “round trips” in a row. The game you are going to is responsible for your travel. That’s the league you will enter into “LEAGUE you were driving to”. The last game you work prior to driving home is responsible for your travel. Not the last “Direct Mileage Paying League” FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS AND YOU’LL BE FINE! – SERIOUSLY, JUST READ THEM!!!!!
15 Mileage Alternative Officials may find “alternative” means of transportation to their games. Air Train Rental Car Must prove to Coordinator of Travel that trip will not cost a league additional mileage money. Example: Live in Chicago, work in OMA/LINC and fly to OMA when could have hooked up with crew in DSM.
