Thanks to our 24 specialized Career and Technical Education programs, students can choose to study anything from Drone Technology to Medical Assisting to Pre-Engineering and more. Through our four P-Tech programs of study, students can even graduate from high school with career certifications, college credits and even an Associate’s degree! 24 CTE Programs

4 PSLA @ Fowler > First Responder AcademyLaw Enforcement Career Opportunities Law Enforcement Private Investigator F.B.I. Agent State Trooper Secret Service Agent U.S. Marshall A.T.F. Agent Cadet Training 1 will provide a paramilitary style boot camp and technical/law preparation Cadet Training 2 provides Mock Police Department experiences with hands on scenarios that place cadets in real life like situations (exploring the multiple departments within the police force and exams required to advance) Prepares students to react appropriately and professionally to situations where the public might be put at risk by natural or man-made emergencies. 5 PSLA @ Fowler > First Responder AcademyFire Rescue Pathway (FRP) Career Opportunities Firefighter Fire Protection Professional Industrial Fire Safety Professional Fire Investigator/Fire Inspector Emergency Management Fire Code Enforcement Forestry Fire Prevention Specialist Students will receive an introduction to fire fighter careers (fire investigator, inspector, command center lead) and basic fire fighter fundamentals, fire behavior training, and basics in vehicle operation and apparatus training. Students will go through the Firefighter 1, Hazardous Materials training, arson investigation basics, and Certified First Responder training. Students will learn about fire prevention and develop critical fire skills necessary to handle the challenges and demands of fire protection. Students will also learn skills needed to react effectively in an emergency situation.  Students will graduate with several industry credentials. Fowler Pathway

6 PSLA @ Fowler > First Responder AcademyEmergency Medical Technician (EMT) Pathway Career Opportunities Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic Students 18 years or older qualify to challenge the State Licensing Exam to practice as an EMT in NYS. EMT practitioners provide pre-hospital emergency medical care at the scene of an emergency and en route to a hospital. Fowler Pathway

Reverse engineering is the process of discovering the technological principles of a device or system through analysis of its structure, function, and operation. It involves disassembling electronic components or computer programs and analyzing its components and specific functions. Cybersecurity involves the monitoring of networks for security breaches, responding to cyber attacks, and gathering data and evidence to be used in prosecuting cyber crime. Fowler Pathway

Geospatial Technology lets us visualize, question, analyze, and interpret data to better understand relationships, patterns, and trends. Geospatial Technology helps us solve problems by looking at data in a way that is quickly understood and easily shared. The growing number of ways that we can use Geographic Information Technology (GIT) has led the U.S. Department of Labor to predict that thousands of new GIT-related jobs will open up by 2020, as more industries recognize new ways to use geography-based data management. Students are given the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and a college degree within a five/six year course of study.
