3 The Imperfect n Use this tense when you talk about what people used to do in the past (continuous)

4 To form the imperfect of -ar verbs, drop the -ar and substitute the following endings: -ábamos X-aban -aba -abas -aba

6 To form the imperfect of -er/-ir verbs, drop the -er/-ir and substitute the following endings: -ía-ías-ía -íamos X -ían

8 Only three verbs are irregular in the imperfect, ser, ir, and ver.
