The waiting list at the Migration office of the city of Rome has hundreds of people awaiting for their asylum documents to be taken into consideration; in April 2012, almost 2000 such requests were still unprocessed!
9 Il Soggiorno In October 2012, after years and years of prayer, s on my part to the HQ of International Teams’ International Coordinator and Refugee Ministries’ headquarters, meetings with key leaders in Rome, and much behind the scenes work, a small center for Refugees and Migrants was born. It is located on a street very close to Piazza Venezia in Central Rome. Our center is called “IL SOGGIORNO” (the living room).
