8 Warm-up daily Monday – ThursdayWarm-up daily Monday – Thursday. Teacher checks answers each day while they are working on the 5 questions. There is a warm up quiz at the end of the 9 weeks and they can use their warm-ups. Weekly sheet given out on Friday and due the following Friday. Notes are a great resource when you need to help your child. Notes should come home nightly to aid homework. If you child needs help, the library is open every morning at 7:30 and there are teachers to help. Vocabulary cards are a very useful study tool for our vocabulary tests.

12 SCIENCE Science Journal- We use our science journals almost daily. They will need to stay in our science classroom, but may go home at any time as needed. 6th grade does not take a STAAR test, but will take a Science End of Course (EOC) exam in May.
