3 Warning for Illegally Running Water Packaging Units.Image Courtesy: FDA raids at 17 districts across the state on packaged drinking water in Raipur. One company was sealed on the spot as it was found that tap water was being packed in bottles without any filtration. Also, many water drinking water units running illegally without having BIS certificate. FDA has collected 28 water samples and will take against them once the samples are tested in lab.

It is mandatory to follow certain parameter as per FDA norms before packing drinking water but It was found that, many drinking water companies were not filtering water properly due to lack of labs of equipment’s for filtering water.

5 FDA’s Eye on Escaped Illegally Running Water Drinking Units.The information of raid being leaked, so many of illegally running water drinking units escaped after locking the stores. but FDA Officials stated that, they would keep eye on those water units. and will definitely punish them soon.
