50 Taking Your Trip: BoardingTips for Traveling Successfully & Safely: Plan for your return trip Be alert while traveling Do not run to catch a bus Wait near the Bus Stop Sign; away from the road Wait for the bus to stop completely If loading your bicycle, do so without delay (see “Bike & Ride” on the Home Page of trinitytransit.org) Have your exact fare, ticket or pass ready when you board and give it directly to the driver. Drivers do not carry change. Let the driver know where you would like to exit Take a seat as soon as possible and buckle up for safety Be ready to exit when you arrive at your stop Step away from the bus after exiting (If you drop something while leaving the bus, leave it on the ground until the bus drives away)
